Manage Local Licenses
When you launch a Thermo Scientific product for the first time, you should be redirected to a display that indicates that no product is activated on your computer.
To activate a license:
- Click Add license(s). A page opens where you can choose the type of licenses you want to install.
- Click Local license
- If Thermo Scientific products have already been activated on your computer, Thermo Scientific License Manager displays the License screen, listing all activated products. The products are classified into two tabs according to their category: Local for node-locked licenses, Server for floating licenses.
- From the Local tab, Click Activate at the top right corner.
- In the Activation methods dialog:
- Select Activation code to enter the received activation code of the purchased product, with an online or offline option depending on the availability of an internet connection on your computer. See Manage Local Licenses Online or Manage Local Licenses Offline for more information.
- Select License file to use a local license file. See Configure License Files for more information.
